IT'S A GIRL!!!

YAY!!! Just got back from our 20-week ultrasound and the pictures showed a definite va-jay-jay. I would say I told you so but my husband would probably hurt me :) He's a little shell-shocked still but I know he'll come around. She's gonna have him wrapped around her little finger. Most likely she'll dread going to mommy's dance classes and want to play hoops with dad instead. Either way, we're just so glad she's healthy and growing the way she should. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! SOOOO excited to buy cute little dresses!!! :)

Ashleys Baby Shower

Yesterday was Ashley's Baby Shower! It was a lot of fun. All of those adorable gifts really had me wishing for a little girl! Think of all the hand-me-downs she is going to have! :) 9 more days to go until we find out.....the suspense is killing me! Here are some pics to make you laugh - love you all!

The baby is moving!

Felt the baby move a few days ago! It is the most amazing feeling - like a little butterfly inside you fluttering around. I know he or she will be kicking hard soon but right now it's a really nice feeling :) Also, I was able to move up our ultrasound date to the 18th (patience is not my strong point obviously) So now we have only 2 weeks to wait to find out what we're having!!! Love you all.

Month 4

Month 4 is over and I thought I'd post another belly pic! Finally starting to look pregnant instead of like I had too many cheeseburgers :) We find out the gender Feb. 20th - can't wait! The first trimester went by so slow but now it seems to be going by fast! Love you all and can't wait to post about our baby girl in my next blog!

Ultrasound #2

Here are the pictures from our ultrasound this morning! It was indescribable seeing the baby move around inside me. The heartbeat was so fast - 180 bpm!! Her little legs were crossed and her arms were under her chin like she was thinking - so flippin cute!! Greg and I were both overwhelmed with happiness. Just knowing that she is growing and everything is where it should be is the best feeling in the whole world. It was funny because she wouldn't wake up to get a profile shot for the ultrasound technician - the lady kept pushing on my belly to make her move around. Greg thinks she likes her sleep just like her mom! (and no, we do not know if it's a boy or a girl - I'm just guessing) Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers! We are on cloud nine right now.

Maui Trip

Went on a babymoon for a week to Maui - got back late last night. Today is not only my birthday but the start of Week 11! So excited for the first trimester to be over!! Maui was great. Very relaxing. The only time I felt nauseous is when we did this submarine activity. It descends 130 feet into the ocean and I was a little woozy. Other than that I feel amazing. Hope everyone had a great week!

The belly...

Here is a picture of me at the end of Month 1 and the end of Month 2. I'm gonna try and take one at the end of every month with the same shirt on (until I can't fit into it anymore :) So depressing that I have to wear a swimsuit in a couple days.... We leave for Maui tomorrow for our last vacation just the 2 of us! It's gonna be weird to not drink mai tais while laying out in the sun (don't worry Ash, I will wear sunscreen and not get too hot) I decided to post a pic of us in our bikinis from last Thanksgiving's Mexico Cruise (ahhh...memories of flat tummys....)
