Mooey

Our little Moo Moo
She got scared when she saw the big ghost

Pirate Drew and Witch Haley (friend's daughter)

Mooey and Mackenzie (Go Cougs!)

Yes, that is wine in a coffee mug (that's how mama rolls)

Makena's nickname is Mooey (don't ask) so, of course, she went as a cow for Halloween! She had so much fun trick-or-treating with her cousins Drew and Kenzie.

I'm Back.....(life lessons from Makena)

It's been awhile but I finally got away from that hoochie who kisses me all the time and is always saying "NO" to me. I mean seriously, is it really necessary to tell me what to do when I'm just gonna do what I want anyway? Blame it on my youth all you want, but the truth is, I got those parents (and grandparents for that matter) wrapped around my finger.

It's been a pretty great life so far - 15 months old and learning something new every day. For example: I learned today that if I take all of the magnets off the fridge and throw them on the floor they make a really neat sound. I learned yesterday that throwing spaghetti at my dad during dinnertime causes him to get very red in the face (literally). I've also learned that taking my clothes off and running around naked is a very free-ing experience that I enjoy immensely.

My favorite pastimes are still eating, pooping and bathing (in that order). I also enjoy drinking from any drink that is not my own (I mean - really? A sippy cup? Just give me whatever you've got and I'll handle it) I also love being thrown in the air by my huge dad - everyone thought I'd be scared but I guess they forgot I am a GANSTA - that means I don't get scared (as you can see from the pictures below). Hope you bitches enjoy all the pics of me getting my way (as always).

Peace - Kena-Bear- OUT.

Just like mama....

Makena's new thing is to sit in the bathtub while I take a shower....had no idea she was watching so close as the next thing I know she has one foot on the side of the tub and is pretending to "shave" her legs! So funny! They really do copy whatever you do! Here's a video (don't worry - I'm not in it!)

Jeanne's Birthday Weekend!

This weekend was Jeanne's birthday and we had a fabulous girl's night in Capitol Hill Friday night and then we all went over to Vashon Island on Sunday (Jeanne's boyfriend, Cameron, has a house on the water - gorgeous!) We had a blast! Makena fell in love with Ronda's little boy, Drew (he's only 11 years older...like mother like daugher :) She would be fussing and all we'd have to do is put her on his lap and it was like magic - all smiles and giggles! There is also a funny picture of Kena "drinking" from the bladder of a box of wine (what's up Franzia Friday!) Love it. Hope you all had a fabulous Labor Day Weekend too. Enjoy the pics!

MONTANA

Just got back from a week in Anaconda, MT (that's right...as in "my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hun") Greg's parents are from there and it was his mom's family reunion. We stayed at his uncle Bob's cabin on Georgetown Lake - gorgeous! As you can see, I had a good time on the 4-wheelers with Greg's sister! Something about drinking beer by a lake in Big Sky country that brings out the WT in all of us! The only drawback to the trip was how long it takes to get there - 9 hours in a car with a 1 year old is not fun. Thank God she likes to sleep or we would've been in big trouble! Greg's grandpa Jumbo is 86 and one of the reasons we really wanted to make this trip. Enjoy the pictures!
